We took a break. We're back.
If you've followed Save in San Diego for a while, you know we went quiet. Life happened, priorities shifted, and the site sat for a stretch. But the mission never left — and honestly, the case for it is stronger now than it's ever been.
San Diego's local businesses are the heartbeat of this county. The corner cafe in Pacific Beach, the family dentist in La Mesa, the auto shop in El Cajon that's been there for thirty years — these are the places that make San Diego feel like home. They deserve a directory that actually shows up for them.
What we're here to do
- Expose local businesses to more San Diegans — through the directory, the blog, and our social channels.
- Make it free and easy to get listed. No paywalls, no gatekeeping.
- Tell real stories about real businesses — not generic marketing fluff.
- Be a genuine resource for the community, from neighborhood guides to job listings.
What's coming
We're rebuilding the directory from the ground up — cleaner, faster, and easier to use on your phone. New category pages, individual business pages, a growing blog, and a jobs board for local hiring. If you run a business, you can claim your listing today and be part of it from day one.
Own a local business?
Get listed for free and start showing up when San Diegans search for what you do. It takes two minutes.
We're glad to be back. San Diego is home, and we're here for the businesses and people who make it that way. Thanks for sticking with us.
